As we are making preparations for next year’s conference, we wanted to remind you that in 2019, Valentine’s Day falls on the day before our conference starts. We are anticipating a sellout of all Grove Park Inn rooms for the event. Room requests (location, floor level, bed type, view type, etc). are filled in the order received.
If you want to purchase an Arts and Crafts weekend package and guarantee a room at the Grove Park Inn, we recommend you make your reservation now. Call the Grove Park Inn, ask for group reservations, and ask for the Arts and Crafts Conference group.
Registration for the National Arts & Crafts Conference is very simple.
(If you just want to shop the Shows, no registration is required and tickets are sold at the door. The $10.00 General Admission fee* is good for all three days.)
To Register for the Conference...
First, you must decide if you would like to stay at the Grove Park Inn or elsewhere.
1.) Omni-Grove Park Inn Arts & Crafts Weekend Package:
If you want to stay at the Omni Grove Park Inn, you simply call (828) 252-2711 and ask for "Group Reservations." You can then reserve your Arts & Crafts Weekend Package.
It will include your room on Friday and Saturday nights, a large continental breakfast on Saturday and Sunday mornings, the seven major seminar presentations, the daily Small Group Discussions, the walking tours, the afternoon demonstrations, the Saturday night movie, and the special educational exhibits, plus receive a Conference Catalog, a Conference Poster and a canvas tote bag, as well as entry to all three shows each day
When you make a room reservation at the Omni Grove Park Inn under the Arts & Crafts Weekend Package, you are automatically registered for the National Arts & Crafts Conference. No additional deposit is required.
Please Note: We ask that those of you who make a reservation at the Omni Grove Park Inn take a moment to complete the Registration Form below. This will insure that you will not have any delay when you arrive at the Arts & Crafts Registration Desk. Simply indicate on the form below that you have a confirmed Weekend Package reservation at the Omni Grove Park Inn. We will double-check that with the Omni Grove Park Inn to avoid any confusion.
The cost of your $160 per person Conference Events Pass will be included in your room bill when you depart.
2.) Conference Events Pass:
If you will NOT be staying at the Omni Grove Park Inn, but want to attend the six major seminar presentations, the daily Small Group Discussions, the walking tours, the afternoon demonstrations, the Saturday night movie, and the special educational exhibits, plus receive a Conference Catalog, a Conference Poster and a canvas tote bag, as well as entry to all three shows each day, you will need to register in advance for the Conference Events Pass. The cost is $160 per person.

Please note: The Conference Events Pass/Grove Park Inn Weekend package DO NOT include admission for the following events: the Craftsman Farms Kickoff Party, the Art Museum event, & the Historic House tours. These events are all fundraisers for non-profit organizations. Additionally, the Conference Events Pass does not include registration for any Pre-Conference workshops. Refund Policy: For those staying at the Omni Grove Park Inn, you may lose your deposit if you cancel fewer than seven days before your scheduled arrival. For those staying elsewhere who have purchased a $160 Conference Events Pass through Bruce Johnson, refunds will be made until February 1, minus a $10 handling fee. From February 1 until the Thursday prior to the conference, the amount paid will be credited toward next year's conference pass. No refunds can be made for cancellations made after February 1.

If you only want to shop the three selling shows (Antiques Show, Contemporary Craftsfirms Show, and the Books, Magazines & More Show) any of the three afternoons, you do not need to register in advance. When you arrive you can purchase a $10 ticket good for all three shows during all three days. Signs will direct you to the ticket booth and the show location. We can accept cash, credit/debit cards or a check for the $10 ticket.
