In her seminar given for the 2023 National Arts & Crafts Conference and Shows in Asheville, North Carolina, Yoshiko Yamamoto explains how the iconic William Morris influenced her community in 1970s California.
Yoshiko Yamamoto is the founder and proprietor of The Arts & Crafts Press. Her love of printmaking began in the early teenage years as she collected Japanese Woodblock Prints. After her collegiate years at U.C. Berkeley, she founded the Arts & Crafts Press while working as a freelance writer. Her commissions are found at the Disney Grand Californian Hotel, the Gamble House National Historic Register and Patagonia Books among others.
