“The Art and Craft of Dress”
Join Ann Chaves and Dianne Ayres in a look at fashion of the Arts & Crafts era. The exhibit ranges from exquisite Liberty of London garments, to the Walking Suit, Shirtwaist and sportswear; from hats to hosiery; and includes periodicals and images from the time. A recording of Ann’s 2007 fashion show presented at the 2007 National Arts and Crafts conference will also be shown.
The Arts & Crafts Research Fund Silent Auction
Annually, the Arts and Crafts Research Fund holds their silent auction at the National Arts & Crafts shows in one of the most beloved activities by collectors and attendees to bid on a variety of gently used items.
The Arts & Crafts Research Fund was established several years ago by Bruce Johnson with the goal of providing financial assistance to researchers and writers involved in the Arts & Crafts movement.
Each year the ACRF sponsors a Silent Auction at the National Arts & Crafts Conference to raise money, which is distributed at no specific time during the following year. Research grants typically range between $2000-$4000.
