The Antiques of the Grove Park Inn: Up Close

In our final offering for “Arts & Crafts In August: An Online Celebration,” we ended with our first ever hybrid experience. On Friday, August 11th, an in-person audience and an audience via Zoom came to see a presentation from author Bruce Johnson on the antiques of the Grove Park Inn, where chairs, china, silver spoons and a variety of other handcrafted items made just for the Grove Park Inn are explored by the one man who knows their entire history. Afterwards, National Arts and Crafts Conference Director Kate Nixon revealed the first three speakers for the February conference along with the first book club pick for the conference’s annual book club.
